Signifying the rebirth of one of Melbourne’s most significant sites, Coburg Quarter is tapping into the area’s established character to create a much needed new urban hub. A multi-faceted masterplan has been designed with the community in mind. A European-style central square complemented by a new high street, offering an exciting range of restaurants, cafes, bars, retailers and public spaces will form the civic and cultural focal point. Respectful of the location’s heritage while embracing the needs of the future, Coburg Quarter is a long-awaited new direction for this irreplaceable site.

Melbourne is known for its bustling laneway culture. The proposed retail and commercial space within Coburg Quarter is set to be relaunched as a truly unique bar, boutique brewery, pop-ups for local artisans and restaurant with the owner of Coburg’s much loved The Post Office Hotel at the helm.

A new childcare facility operated by Moreland City Council is due to open in 2017. With high demand for spaces due to its accessibility and proximity to numerous primary schools and family-friendly amenities such as the park nearby, one will find there are a lot of things to love about the Coburg Quarter community.
